I’m Jana Feranová, and if there’s one thing I’ve known all my life, it’s living alongside animals. My grandfather, Ervín, was a breeder of dwarf pinscher dogs and an avid pigeon fancier. Meanwhile, my other grandfather, Janko, had a deep love for animals, and it was he who introduced me to my first canine companion, Kardoš zo Španieho Pola, a majestic Slovenský kopov. Thus, my journey with animals began, a journey filled with love, companionship, and endless adventures.

As I grew, so did my passion for dogs. Eston, my beloved Hovawart, became not just a pet, but a teacher and guide in the realm of education and training. Together, we ventured into the world of rescue missions and specialised in scent work and obedience. Eston’s dedication and hard work paid off, earning him the prestigious title of Best Working Hovawart of the Year. Through Eston, I forged lifelong friendships with fellow breeders, exhibitors, and trainers, each one adding a layer of richness to my life and inspiring me in ways beyond breeding.

In 2011, a new member joined our furry family – Hero, a charming Papillon from the kennel “od Čeníčka”. Hero’s infectious joy and zest for life warmed our hearts, but his unexpected health struggles introduced me to the world of natural medicine. Through Hero’s illness, I learned invaluable lessons about veterinary care and holistic healing, shaping my approach to animal welfare and well-being. And when Hero needed a friend, Gustáv, a playful little cat, entered our lives, followed by Evelin Královská Manta, a beautiful Papillon who brought boundless energy and laughter into our home in 2014.

Evelinka, our charming Papillon, led us into the thrilling world of international dog shows, clinching titles across various countries. Notably, she secured a remarkable 3rd place win at the prestigious CRUFTs show in Birmingham, England. Even in her veteran years, Evelinka continued to shine, triumphing as the Best Veteran of the Club show and Club Veteran Champion, showcasing her enduring beauty and intelligence. She also excelled in various sports, from rally obedience to the AD endurance test, proving her versatility and cleverness.

Following Evelinka’s footsteps, Opal Jewel Brilliant Bohemia joined our kennel, captivating us with her limitless energy. Despite her limited appearances, Opal achieved remarkable success, earning titles such as Junior Champion of the Czech Republic and BOG II at an international show. Her spirited temperament found its true calling in agility, bringing excitement to every course she tackled. In 2018, the vivacious  Perfect Story Alvares Show Winner – Jam, a Papillon from Russia, brightened our lives with his infectious joy and remarkable success in the show ring, mirroring Evelinka’s achievements. Beyond shows, Jam’s affable nature endeared him to many, including the elderly in retirement homes, while leaving a positive impact on Czech breeding. Our pack further expanded with Michelle, Jam’s daughter, in 2021, showcasing excellence in various disciplines. Finally, Naila, our long-awaited addition from Latvia, made a grand entrance with her boundless energy and show-stopping performances, earning prestigious titles including a 3rd place win at CRUFTs 2024. Through our canine adventures, we continuously enrich our knowledge and celebrate the bonds of love and companionship that define life in Estonville.
